RECREATING THE AUTHENTIC “P” WORN BY THE TEAM OUT OF AMERICA’S PARIS

History: If you're thinking of the Eiffel Tower and baguettes, think again. This East Texas town is perhaps best known for the eponymous 1984 film by Wim Wenders with Harry Dean Stanton and a haunting score from Ry Cooder. However, decades earlier, there was a Class C team in the St. Louis Browns organization called the Red Peppers, coached by World Series champion Homer Peel. 

This cap is made from sturdy cotton twill and a sewn-on felt “P” honoring the 1946 Paris Red Peppers.
